DJ Nova began his rise as an evolving artist as a freshman in college, quickly discovering his tremendous

competition videos, Nova spent his beginnings practicing on borrowed tables and crates of various

From his creative musical fusions to his capability in controlling his parties, D-NYCE is a turntabling puppeteer putting a positive spin (literally) in the trait.

D-NYCE, originally from New York City, found his match with turntablism at the early age of 11. With a DJ for an older brother and a self-recognized fascination with control, D-NYCE began his practice on his sibling’s music equipment and soon realized a DJ’s ability to take command. After years of immersing himself into new music and developing an eclectic taste for various genres, he has grown to perform for thousands around the country. Influenced by the likes of DJ legends Jazzy Jeff and Run DMC, D-NYCE is on his way to the top, all while driving the current state of music under his direction.

D-NYCE has come a long way since playing secretly on his brother’s equipment for house parties around the city. From playing for over 20,000 people at a St. Louis music festival to leading them all in a massive jump-frenzy to “Jump Around,” D-NYCE’s gift for reading his crowds and playing exactly what they want to hear will soon lead him to take command of true music-loving audiences abroad.
